Fall From Grace (Cameron's Sunday afternoon game)
An accredited fellow of Selkham University
Torrin Ofilyn was the fifth son of the minor merchant house Ofilyn. At the young age of 12 during an altercation with another boy Torrin’s inherent magical ability awakened and he badly burned the boy with magical fire. Seeing the potential but also the danger of Torrin he was assigned multiple tutors until eventually being enrolled in Selkham Arcane University, an establishment known for it’s archives of obscure and esoteric occult knowledge by those interested in such fields.
While at Selkham Torrin not only controlled his inherent ability but also expanded on it acquiring a learned understanding of the arcane arts. It was also here however he befriended Tharald Varen and the two engaged in personal investigations into extra-planer and extra-dimensional matters. During their research they became fascinated with Asmodeus and eventually begun secret worship of The Prince of Hell.
Eventually they completed their studies at Selkham both agreed to serve with the Church of Asmodeus. Tharald entered training for the clergy but Torrin decided to continue his mastery of arcane magic and use it to better serve his lord. The Church made use of Torrin to complete various missions from defending the faithful from other churches, aiding Knights of Asmodeus on quests to the delivery of important messages. He was also trusted scholar on extra-planer matters and when rumours of creatures from no known plane causing an entire planet to be evacuated Torrin was assigned to gather information in the interests of the Church. When Feldspar was besieged by the horrors his arcane ability and work on this case caused his reassignment to the defence of Feldspar, aiding both the Angels and Devils that were there drive back the horrors. When disaster struck Feldspar, and full evacuation was called Torrin would eventually be further reassigned to work under the Harkonid empire in a specialist team designed to solve this crisis and push the invaders back from whence they came.
